January may have brought in another lockdown but the Courts haven't stopped. We have continued to represent clients in both the civil and criminal courts and Children's Panels throughout the lockdown both attending in court personally and appearing 'virtually'. We believe virtual courts will continue long after Covid and we are installing our very own virtual court within our new office premises and embracing the changes to our Court system. If you have a virtual hearing coming up and you have any questions please get in touch.
We are pleased to announce we are opening new office premises at 9 Budhill Avenue, Glasgow G32 0PW. This is conveniently right beside Shettleston train station. Our office is currently being renovated and we are hoping to move in after lockdown. We are excited about the new move and look forward to meeting the locals.
We hope all of our clients and colleagues have had a lovely break over the holidays at the end of this strangest of years.
The pandemic has forced significant changes to the way our justice system works with an emphasis now on remote court hearings and electronic documentation. This has been a challenge for many firms, and we count ourselves lucky to have had an electronic operating system that allowed us to embrace the changes fully. We are currently conducting the majority of our hearings remotely which has allowed us to continue to operate at pre-covid levels.
Our staff are embracing the new year with renewed enthusiasm and are committed to providing a full and high quality service throughout these unprecedented times to ensure that our clients continue to have access to justice when they need it.
We wish you and your family a covid-free and prosperous 2021!
